6th & Alder
This seven-story mixed-use development introduces 111 residential units above ground-floor commercial spaces in a growing urban neighborhood. Built as a 5-over-2 structure - five levels of wood-frame construction over a two-level concrete podium - the project is designed to support both community vitality and sustainable urban growth.
Strategically located near major transit lines, the building encourages walkability, bike use, and public transportation, reducing reliance on personal vehicles and enhancing connectivity. The ground floor activates the streetscape with retail and neighborhood-serving uses, while upper levels provide a mix of thoughtfully designed units catering to a range of lifestyles.
Residents enjoy a robust amenity package, including a rooftop deck with city views, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and a shared recreation lounge. The design integrates varied materials and articulated massing to complement the surrounding context, creating a welcoming and livable urban environment rooted in accessibility and community.
